Low Pressure Sanitary Sewer

Sun Dale provides its residents with a low pressure sanitary sewage system.

Eliminates need for septic tanks and "pump-outs".

In most resort communities, cabin owners or homeowners use septic tanks, which are regularly pumped out and the contents hauled away.  However as the development of recreational areas  continues to grow, this approach increases the risk of sewage re-entering the lake.  As a result, many jurisdictions are now prohibiting new developments which use septic tanks.

Sewage haulers are also reluctant to haul  sewage further from the lake, and are likely to charge more for their services.

Because of Sun Dale's  sewage system, there will be no need for homeowners to have septic hauling done from their property in the development.

For the homeowner this means the elimination of septic tank "pump out" costs.   Sun Dale residents won't be  inconvenienced by a full septic tank which is waiting for a "pump-out" truck to arrive.  It also means Sun Dale residents won't be dealing with  the odors generated when tanks are pumped.

Environmental sustainability, hygiene and odor issues are the primary reasons that Sun Dale has eliminated septic tanks.

Sun Dale's sewage system operates through the use of Environment One Corporation grinder pumps.  Sanitary sewage drains into a grinder pump station.  The station grinds and pumps the sewage into the central collection system.  These grinder pumps are supplied and maintained by Sun Dale.  Residents are not involved in the collection, treatment and disposal of sanitary sewage.
